At Gloopies, we believe every plushie deserves a second chance to bring comfort and joy. Our Plushie Donation Program lets you donate pre-loved plush toys to help support local shelters, and as a thank-you, enjoy a reward on your next Gloopies purchase!
How It Works
1. Send Us Your Plushies
Only plushies from the Gloopies brand will count towards your discount, but you may donate any plush toys, from any brand. We accept clean, gently used plushies that are safe for reuse.
2. We Clean & Prepare
Every donated plushie is professionally cleaned and sanitised before being passed on to one of our partner shelters or community organisations.
3. Receive Your Gloopies Reward
Once we receive your donation, you’ll be sent a discount code for your next Gloopies plush purchase. The value of the discount is determined using the Gloopies Plushie Donation Discount Matrix.

Discount value: Up to 30% off your next Gloopies plush purchase
Product limitation: Discount applies only to Gloopies plush toys purchased directly from our website
Shipping: Discount does not apply to shipping costs. Shipping the donated plushies to us is for the donor’s (customer) account.
One code per donation submission
Not redeemable for cash and cannot be combined with other promotions
Final classification is at Gloopies’ discretion
What We Accept
Plushies must be clean (although we do a deep clean, it should still be reasonably clean), safe, and in good condition.
No damaged, torn, or heavily worn items.
No electronic or battery-powered plush toys.

Important Notes
Donated plushies become the property of Gloopies for the purpose of cleaning, redistribution, or responsible recycling.
Shelter distribution is subject to availability and partner acceptance guidelines.
Discount codes are issued after donations are received and verified.

Gloopies Plushie Donation Discount Matrix
Maximum Discount: 30% (Plush Products Only | Excludes Shipping)
Step 1 - Classify Each Plushie
For every donated plush, three different scores are considered.
1. The Quantity Factor (QF) determines the total number of Gloopies plushies in the donation.
1 plushie = 5 points
2 – 3 plushies = 10 points
4 – 5 plushies = 15 points
6+ plushies = 20 points
2. The Size Factor (SF) determines the sizes in the donation. This score is applied as a ratio to the total number of Gloopies plushies in the donation.
Small (≤20 cm) : 5 points
Medium (21–30 cm): 10 points
Large (31+ cm): 15 points
For example: If your donation contains 3 plushies: 2 Small and 1 Large, you will not receive 5 + 5 + 15 points. The maximum number of points for SF is still 15 points. You will receive 8.33 points (2/3 x 5 points = 3.33 points & 1/3 x 15 = 5 points).
3. The condition factor (CF) is assessed over the entire batch. If the majority of plushies fall into the “Poor” category, the donation is not eligible for a discount, but may still be accepted for recycling.
Step 2 - CALCULATING THE TOTAL SCORE
Total Score = QF + SF + CF
Maximum possible score = 20 + 15 + 15 = 50
Step 3 - CONVERT THE TOTAL SCORE TO DISCOUNT
