Gloopies – Returns & Exchanges Policy

We take great care to ensure each Gloopie is made with love and arrives in perfect condition. Because our plushies are handmade and often customised, our returns policy is limited to damaged or defective goods.

By purchasing from Gloopies, you agree to the terms set out below.

1. No Change-of-Mind Returns

We do not accept returns or exchanges for the following reasons:
• You no longer want the item (“change of mind”)
• You ordered the wrong size, colour, or style
• The item was received as an unwanted gift
• The item has been used, washed, altered, or damaged after delivery

2. Damaged or Defective Goods

If your order arrives damaged or defective, we will work quickly to resolve the issue.

To be eligible for a replacement or refund:
• You must notify us within 7 days of receiving your order.
• You must provide:
    1. Your order number
    2. A description of the issue
    3. Clear photographs showing the damage or defect

All claims should be sent to info@gloopies.co.za.

3. Resolution Options

Once we verify the damage or defect, we will:
• Replace the item with the same or a similar product (subject to availability), or
• Issue a full refund to your original payment method

4. Shipping Costs
• If your item is confirmed as damaged or defective, we will cover the cost of return shipping.
• We do not cover return shipping for non-damaged items, as change-of-mind returns are not accepted.

5. Sale, Clearance & Promotional Items

All sale, clearance, and promotional items are considered final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged unless they arrive damaged or defective.

6. Processing Times
• We aim to process verified return claims within 5–7 business days of receiving all required information.
• Refunds may take additional time depending on your bank or payment provider.

7. Legal Rights

This policy does not affect your statutory rights under South African consumer protection laws.
